While the rest of the country might just now be appreciating fall (thank you, Gilmore Girls & Noah Kahan!), we in New England have known the joys of stick season for a long time. What better excuse for a natural wardrobe change!

POLO RALPH LAUREN 

Timeless and authentic, Polo Ralph Lauren also represents a unique vision of modern-day sportswear that is easy, energetic, young and cool for both men and women. Trending this season… power blazers with nipped waits! The Glen Plaid Wool-Blend Twill Blazer and The RL67 Herringbone Jacket fits the bill for this updated take on everlasting fall outerwear.

Sweatah Weathah calls for some new knits of course! A Polo Classic, the Cable-Knit Wool-Cashmere Sweater is available in a variety of colors and sizes to find the perfect fit for your fall wardrobe. For an iconic fall print, the traditional Fair Isle print can be found in the distinctively Polo-inspired Fair Isle Lace-Up Wool Sweater that can be worn while leaf-peeping and the timeless Fair Isle Wool Sweater that ups office fashion.  

SAKS FIFTH AVENUE

Whether it’s strutting down the streets of Back Bay or roaming the apple orchards outside the City, a pair of good shoes is a must when the temp starts to cool down. The Saks Fifth Avenue location at the Pru has it covered for women shoppers.

Nothing is more synonymous with fall footwear than a riding boot. For a classic black leather boot, we’re looking at the Staud Harlow with its round toe and buckle closure. Brown leather more your style? The Stuart Weitzman Benni riding boots are crafted of both leather and suede and feature a sleek almond toe and buckle detail as well.

We in New England know that it takes some time for fall to really feel like “fall.” In the meantime, our favorite transitional shoe is a Penny Loafer. Miu Miu’s Vintage-Effect Leather Penny Loafers have a cheeky coin detail as a nod to the loafer’s name. Tod’s Logo-Detailed Leather Penny Loafers features rubber pebble detailing on the heel and an outsole with embossed rubber pebbles… a must when navigating Boston’s brick side walks and slippery wet leaves (iykyk).

BUCK MASON

Filled with American classics, Buck Mason has it covered for our male shoppers looking for the perfect pair of jeans, a jacket that’ll go with everything, and shoes to complete the look!

With four different jean styles to choose from, it will be hard to not find the fit you’re looking for: The Ford Standard is a mid-rise classic tailored, slim-fit that is available in both Japanese Denim and Craftsman Corduroy; the Full Saddle is a vintage-inspired relaxed straight fit high-rise; the Maverick Slim is a mid-rise slim tapered fit; and the Cowboy is slightly high-rise with a tailored fit through the thigh and leg.

For jackets, the Lee X Buck Mason Rambler Suede 91-B Jacket is designed in a rugged full-grain cowhide suede, with a cropped boxy fit that can be adjusted with side buttoned tabs. For something a bit less structured, the Airlight Ripstop Bomber Jacket is Buck Mason’s updated version of an American heritage outerwear.
