The most wonderful time of the year has arrived at Prudential Center! From our iconic illuminated tower to festive food and drink experiences, seasonal shopping surprises, and a visit from the man in red himself, we’re bringing the magic of the holidays to Boston’s Back Bay. Here’s your guide to all the merry moments happening at the Pru this season.

WINTER GARDEN: EXPERIENCE WINTER IN A NEW LIGHT

Step into a mystical winter experience as South Garden transforms into a Winter Garden, an immersive light and sound installation created by MASARY Studios. This captivating outdoor experience features a celestial choreography of synchronized lights, sound, and reflective sculptures that shimmer and shift with each passing moment. State-of-the-art lighting towers and custom-composed soundscapes bring the garden to life in a mesmerizing “ballet” of motion and color, inviting visitors to pause and wonder at the magic of winter nights.

When: Thursday, December 4th – Thursday, December 18th

Hours: Daily from 4PM – 9PM

WINTERGREEN AT TREE HOUSE

Tree House Brewing Co. transforms their indoor beer garden, adjacent to their to-go storefront, into a cozy winter atmosphere with holiday lights and a variety of seasonal drinks, including seasonal beers, holiday cocktails and spiked hot cocoa. While there, don’t forget to purchase cans to-go and peruse the merch for all the beer lovers on your gifting list this season!  

When: December 5th through January 2026

Hours: Regular hours 10AM – 8PM, Cans to go begins at 10AM, drinks begin at 11AM. Check Tree House Brewing’s website for any changes to their hours during the holiday season.

31 NIGHTS OF LIGHT

Marking our 17th year, Prudential Tower will glow with purpose throughout December as we shine a spotlight on local non-profits during 31 Nights of Light. Each evening, the tower illuminates in a unique color representing 28 deserving organizations and 3 special holidays.

SANTA IN THE CITY

The jolly man himself is coming to town! Santa will be greeting children and families in his cozy Back Bay brownstone every Saturday beginning after Thanksgiving and leading up to Christmas.

Little ones are welcome to bring their wish lists and share their holiday dreams with Santa. You’ll leave with a special souvenir photo and a lot of holiday cheer!

GIVING TREE

Join us in spreading holiday joy to children in need! We’re thrilled to partner once again with Cradles to Crayons for our annual Giving Tree drive. This Boston-based national organization provides essential clothing to children throughout the community.

Where: Donation station located next to the Concierge Desk in South Garden, near Club Monaco and Sushma. Grab a tag off the Pru Giving Tree or purchase a gift online here.

EARLS KITCHEN + BAR: WINTER WONDER LOUNGE

Toast to the season at Earls ‘ enchanting Winter Wonder Lounge! This festive pop-up on the Earls patio is the perfect spot to gather with loved ones over exclusive holiday cocktails including the Spiced Hot Chocolate, Blue Christmas or the Holiday Margarita.

VIEW BOSTON STRATUS WINTER OASIS

Step into a festive winter oasis at Stratus Bar this holiday season! Adorned with glittering icicles, sparkling lights, and festive winter elements, this experience is a must on your holiday to-do list.
