Do you know what makes summer 2026 so special? It spans the maximum possible length of days between Memorial Day and Labor Day, coming in at 106 days; the typical span between the unofficial start and stop to summer is 99 days. The next time summer will be this long isn’t until 2037. So let’s make the most of the season here in Boston’s Back Bay!
From rooftop cocktails to iconic Boston outings, Prudential Center is the one-stop shop for your end of summer bucket list. Keep reading for what we’re doing with the extra days this year!
VIEW BOSTON
Experience a Summer Reimagined 52 floors above the city in View Boston! Through September 7th (Labor Day), explore the bold immersive exhibit, complete with a signature cocktail in hand.
The cocktail lounge is open from 6PM to 9PM Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, featuring acts like Mastermind, BtB, DJ Jinx, and DJ Tavo. Every Saturday night, Big Night Entertainment Group takes over the 51st floor for Sun Sets, transforming the open-air roof deck into a sky-high music venue featuring DJs, including Rivas, Dew Galvin & Jake Jordan, Don Daft, Chalant, and Avdrey.

SUMMER FLICKS
Through August 29th, find a spot on South Garden for Summer Flicks. This free outdoor movie-watching experience takes place every Saturday night and features all your favorite classics and recent blockbusters. Throughout the summer, a selection of the Center’s eateries make your movie-viewing even more special with freebies, tastings and more!
Music entertainment kicks off the night at 6:30PM, with all movies beginning at dusk. No pre-registration needed to attend!
BOSTON DUCK TOURS
We might be biased, but Boston Duck Tours is one of the best ways to explore the city. No two tours are alike thanks to ConDUCKtors who put their unique spin on each group! During the 80 minute historicalish tour, the ConDUCKtors are your guide to the city as you drive by historic landmarks on land before plunging into the Charles River for a riverside-view of Boston. Boston Duck Tours is the only operator that can traverse both land and water, allowing for the perfect photo opp to capture the city’s skyline, including our beloved Prudential Tower!
Tours from the Pru depart seven days a week starting at 10AM and until one hour before sunset. The Boston Duck Tours ticket booth is located outside the Prudential Center on Huntington Ave adjacent to the Star Market. Tickets can also be purchased ahead of time online, which is HIGHLY recommended.
RED SOX GAMES
Not to jinx it, but you might have noticed that the Red Sox are looking pretty good right now. So you’re not going to want to miss any of the action.
With the Center being just a 15 minute walk or quick pedicab to Fenway Park, take advantage of $26 discounted parking on game day! When leaving the garage, scan your parking ticket and then scan a same-day Red Sox ticket (digital or printed).
The discounted parking is only available for night and weekend games only:
- Enter after 2PM Monday – Friday
- Enter after 7AM Weekends
- Exit by 3AM
Discount NOT valid for Fenway Park concerts and events. No discount for postponed games.
BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING
